Current and former NBA players react to Adam Silver banning Donald Sterling
Aside from a few people who are focusing on the fact that the NBA should have forced Donald Sterling out of the league a long time ago, the overwhelming majority are satisfied with the sanctions handed down by commissioner Adam Silver. Sterling has been banned from the NBA for life and Silver is confident he will receive enough votes to force him to sell the Los Angeles Clippers.
After Silver held his press conference on Tuesday, tweets of support from current and former NBA players began rolling in. Here are some of them:
Current and former NBA players now know that in Commissioner Adam Silver we have a great leader leading our league.

Silver did everything within his power to punish Sterling. Some people are angry that Sterling bought the team for around $12 million and would likely sell it for close to $1 billion, but there’s no avoiding that. He can’t be forced to give his property away, but he can be forced to sell it.
The message that was sent is the right one. Sterling has always been rich. Part of the reason he wanted to buy the Clippers was so he can be seen and live the Hollywood life while sitting courtside. At least he no longer has that luxury.
