Danny Green promises Lakers will be better than last season

The Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night played their first home game of the new season, and one of their new team members took the opportunity to address the home fans.

Danny Green, who signed with the Lakers in the offseason, spoke to the Staples Center crowd and promised the team would be better than last season’s squad.

Last season’s team went 37-45 and missed the playoffs entirely, making their season a total disappointment. This year’s team has Anthony Davis and Green. Depth will be a concern for the squad, which lost DeMarcus Cousins to a torn ACL in the summer. After what they gave up to get Davis, they better be improved from last year’s team.
