The Phoenix Suns are struggling, which has led to some issues between the players.
After Thursday night’s loss to the Portland Trail Blazers, two of Phoenix’s young players, Deandre Ayton and Devin Booker, reportedly exchanged words.
The Arizona Republic’s Duane Rankin reported about the matter:
“Phoenix’s top two players, Booker and Ayton, exchanged words after the 10-minute cooling off period as members of the media entered the visiting locker room for the tail end of that conversation,” Rankin reported.
Ayton is averaging a double-double this season (15.8 points, 10.1 rebounds per game), but he’s struggling on the defensive end and did not start on Thursday, though that was said to him not feeling well.
Additionally, rookie Mikal Bridges had a moment of frustration with head coach Igor Kokoskov after picking up a foul.
