As Dan Lyons of College Spun notes, DJ Rodman averaged 24.2 points and 8.9 rebounds per game in his junior season at Junipero Serra High School in San Mateo, Calif., this yearn. The rebound numbers are reminiscent of his father, but DJ seems to be a better scorer than Dennis was.
Washington State appears to be the most high-profile program to over DJ a scholarship, as the 6-foot-6, 190-pound junior has received other offers from Cal State Fullerton, UC Riverside and Sacramento State.
Dennis Rodman has remained in the news over the past year or so due to his continued struggles with alcohol addiction.
