Oklahoma City guard Dion Waiters wants to join the Sacramento Kings, according to a report.
Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reported on Friday that Waiters, a restricted free agent, is “locked in” on the Kings.

As Jones notes, the Kings would probably need to give Waiters an impressive offer to dissuade Oklahoma City from matching. That might be slightly easier with their recent acquisition of Victor Oladipo, and if Sacramento comes in with a significant offer, Oklahoma City may well opt to let him go and save some money for other needs.
The Kings weren’t the only team eyeing Waiters, but it sounds like they’re the most serious suitor and the Kings’ interest is mutual.
