Dwyane Wade clowns ex-teammate Kendrick Perkins
This weekend provided an opportunity for Dwyane Wade to relive one of the greatest hits of his NBA career.
Wade took to Instagram on Saturday to repost a video of a saga between him and former Cleveland Cavaliers teammate Kendrick Perkins. Several years ago when Wade was on his first stint with the Miami Heat and Perkins was on the Oklahoma City Thunder, the latter pulled a disrespectful move on the former by swinging a leg in his face on a dunk. Wade would then respond by getting Perkins back in a subsequent meeting with a vicious poster slam for the ages.
The 12-time All-Star clowned Perkins in his caption as well, tagging him and writing “Why you do me like that tho!?! Had to get you back bro hahaha.”
Wade and Perkins were only teammates on the Cavs for a very brief stint. They both signed with the team last September, but Perkins was waived in October after a handful of preseason games. He would re-sign with the Cavs again in April, but by that time Wade had already been traded back to Miami.
The throwback post still makes for a pretty funny jab though, but it’s not quite as juicy as the last time that Perkins and an ex-teammate of his got into it.
