Dwyane Wade says Pat Riley did not push him out of Miami
Dwyane Wade tried to clear up the stories that it was Pat Riley who drove him out of Miami.
Wade, introduced to the Chicago media on Friday, said that his hometown was where he wanted to be.
Wade: "Let’s clear up the notion Pat Riley orchestrated me getting out of in Miami. This is a place I wanted to be."

Wade on Riley: "I dealt with Micky Arison, my contracts the last two years. He didn’t sit at the table. He didn’t call or email or text."

Wade also clarified that the Bulls would not be his team.
Wade: "We’re not gonna go through this all year. It’s Jimmy Butler’s team.”

Riley definitely isn’t happy with how things ended, but Wade is, at least outwardly, not holding a grudge.
