Former Clippers guard wants team to sign Shaun Livingston
One ex-LA Clippers guard is going to bat for another.
In a tweet on Tuesday, three-time Sixth Man of the Year winner Jamal Crawford called for the Clippers to bring back veteran Shaun Livingston.
“Shaun Livingston would be a PERFECT fit with the Clips on that second unit,” Crawford wrote. “Everything coming full circle, makes too much sense!”
The 33-year-old Livingston, who was released by the Golden State Warriors this summer after helping contribute to three titles, played the first three seasons of his career with the Clippers. Unfortunately, he suffered a gruesome knee injury in 2007 during what proved to be his last game with the team.
Livingston has expressed interest in returning to his first NBA squad, and Crawford can obviously see how storybook of an ending that would be.
