Former Duke swingman Kyle Singler has called out Mike Krzyzewski in a string of concerning social media posts.
A disheveled-looking Singler uploaded several videos on Tuesday to his personal Instagram account. He shot each one from a bottom-up angle while walking around what appeared to be his home and speaking in a tone that sounded like a Joker impression.
The first one was addressed to former Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski, whom Singler accused of ignoring his cries for help.
“Man, Coach K has set me up,” Singler said to begin the first of four videos. “Set me up, man. I have no power. I have no house. I’ve reached out to Coach, and everybody has turned the other way. I’ve reached out to Coach, and he has fully dismissed the message.
“You guys are cutting my power off, breaking into my house, stealing money, ruining my life. I reached out to Coach K, and all he did was sit me on the bench. Thanks, man. Is that what we’re doing at that school, sending people down, teaching them up? Cool beans, man. … Coach, where you at?”

In the other videos, Singler claimed he was under surveillance and that his bank accounts were frozen. He also complained about a privacy issue in modern society. You can watch the rest of the minute-long rants here.
Singler played under Coach K from 2007 to 2011. He was Duke’s second-leading scorer in each of his four seasons with the team, helping the Blue Devils win the national championship in 2010.
Only current Duke head coach Jon Scheyer averaged more points than Singler during their title-winning season together.
The Detroit Pistons selected Singler in the second round of the 2011 NBA draft. He went on to have a six-year NBA career before playing overseas. He announced his retirement in 2019 at the age of 31.
Singler had fans concerned two years ago, when he posted an alarming video claiming he was fearing for his life every day. He did not appear to be in a good mental state then, and looks to be in worse shape now.
