If George Karl wanted to trade DeMarcus Cousins, would the Sacramento Kings head coach be seen wearing a No. 15 jersey in public?
Fans were left pondering that exact question after Karl rocked a Cousins jersey at a Positive Coaching Alliance event in Sacramento on Monday night. Cousins is obviously one of the best players the Kings have, but it would be a surprise if ownership forced Karl to wear that particular jersey.
It’s highly unlikely that Cousins is going to be traded before the start of the NBA season, despite reports that indicate Karl is not the only member of the Kings organization who wants the 25-year-old gone. Cousins has downplayed his beef with Karl publicly, though it is very obvious that the two aren’t huge fans of one another. If you need proof of that, look no further than this painfully awkward handshake.
