Gerald Green gets shamrock braided into hair
After spending last season with the Heat, Gerald Green is back with the team who drafted him back in 2008, the Celtics. To mark his return, he got a remarkable hairstyle.
Prior to Boston’s season opener against the Nets, Green arrived to TD Garden with a shamrock braided into his hair.

That’s quality work and looks much better than what JaVale McGee was sporting during the preseason.
Green spent the first two seasons of his NBA career with the Celtics before being traded to the Timberwolves in the deal that sent Kevin Garnett to Boston. Last season with Miami, Green played in 69 games and averaged 8.9 points per game.
