Glen Davis sent to locker room with team security after exchanging words with Doc Rivers
After beginning the season with the Orlando Magic and appearing in 45 games, Glen Davis agreed to a contract buyout in February.
In a move that didn’t come as a surprise to many, Davis signed with the Los Angeles Clippers a few days later. The veteran played under head coach Doc Rivers as a member of the Boston Celtics from 2007-2011.
On Saturday against the Houston Rockets, Davis was removed from the game and apparently didn’t take it well. After an exchange of words with Rivers, the coach had Davis escorted to the locker room by team security, according to Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times.
