Goran Dragic says trade rumors did not come from him

Goran Dragic is trying to distance himself from the notion that he wants out of Miami.

The Heat guard has been the subject of trade chatter, including a report from Chris Mannix on Thursday saying Dragic is open to being traded from the Heat.

Dragic addressed the reports on Thursday by saying the rumor is not true and it did not come from him.

“It didn’t came from me. So, that’s not true. I totally deny that. That’s bulls—,” said Dragic.

The part about this report not coming from him did not appear to come from him, so that is definitely believable. It seemed like Mannix was just throwing something out there as a general matter.

But recall that Dragic has denied wanting a trade in the past when that turned out to be true. It’s hard to take him at his word.
