San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich had a minor health scare on Tuesday night when he reportedly had to leave the team’s bus with sharp pains in his chest.
According to NBA.com’s David Aldridge, Popovich is going to be fine.
“Spurs not commenting but Gregg Popovich is with the team and flying to Charlotte after suffering “a very minor issue” following Wizards game,” Aldridge wrote on Twitter late Tuesday night. “Popovich is physically fine.”
All indications are that Popovich will coach the Spurs on Wednesday.
We hope it’s not a serious issue. Even a single game where Pop can’t do stuff like this to reporters would be a major disappointment.
