The Hassan Whiteside-Miami Heat relationship continues to deteriorate from the looks of it.
On Tuesday, Whiteside posted a video of himself in the gym on his Instagram Story. In the clip, the star center shoots and hits a three-pointer from the top of the arc and then turns to the camera and says, “There’s a difference between you can’t shoot and you’re not allowed.” Take a look:

Whiteside’s post comes in the wake of a season where he averaged a modest 14.0 points and 11.4 rebounds in 25.3 minutes per game and was a virtual non-factor in the playoffs, thanks to both reduced production and a reduced role. The 28-year-old butted heads with the Heat multiple times over the course of the year as a result.
It is becoming increasingly clear that Whiteside, who can become a free agent in 2019, is unhappy and feels he is being underutilized in Miami. The Heat do not appear to share the same sentiment though, so it is reasonable to question whether Whiteside’s future will still be with the team.
