Whiteside played just 10 minutes on Tuesday and averaged just 15 minutes per game for the series. The postseason proved to be a continuation of what was a frustrating season for Whiteside. He also expressed frustration with reduced minutes earlier this year.
If Whiteside’s future lies away from Miami, it will be interesting to see what his market looks like. Whiteside had a down season and is owed $50 million over the next two seasons.
