Hawks players preparing for big trade involving All-Star player?
NBA rumor season is in full swing, and even players have a tendency to get swept up in the speculation. Either that is what is going on with the Atlanta Hawks, or we may be on the verge of seeing another big trade.
A report last month claimed the Atlanta Hawks were eyeing a potential trade for Toronto Raptors All-Star forward Pascal Siakam.
On Tuesday, fans on social media noticed that Trae Young had recently followed Siakam on Instagram.

That could be a total coincidence, but it happened at around the same time Hawks players Onyeka Okongwu and AJ Griffin began following Raptors swingman Scottie Barnes.
A few things just happened..
Trae just followed Pascal Siakam on IG
Onyeka is now following Scottie Barnes
A.J Griffin is now also following Scottie Barnes
Could mean nothing but it would be VEEEEERRYYYY coincidental..

All of that could mean absolutely nothing. But if Siakam winds up in Atlanta via a trade that also involves Barnes, we can safely conclude that Hawks players knew what was going on ahead of time.
Siakam averaged 24.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game last season, earning his second All-Star nod. If the Hawks can add him, they would form a nice trio between Young, Siakam and Dejounte Murray. Fans would certainly be excited about a trade like that following two consecutive seasons of first-round playoff exits.
