Charlotte Hornets forward Grant Williams suffered a season-ending knee injury on Saturday.
Williams was injured when he landed awkwardly on his leg while making a jump stop in the lane on a drive to the basket against the Milwaukee Bucks. Williams immediately grabbed his right knee after going down.

Williams has since been diagnosed with a torn ACL in his right knee, which will keep him out for the rest of the season.
Williams had 8 points and 7 rebounds in 32 minutes before exiting Charlotte’s 125-119 loss to Milwaukee. The 25-year-old was in his first full season with the Hornets and had been splitting time as both a starter and reserve.
Williams was acquired by Charlotte along with Seth Curry in February in return for PJ Washington. The former Boston Celtic has averaged 15 points per game in 45 career contests with the Hornets, including 17 starts.
