Ja Morant hits game-winner in first game back from suspension
Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant was quick to remind fans of how impactful he can be on the court. The All-Star hit the game-winner Tuesday in his first game back from a 25-game suspension.
Morant led the Grizzlies to a 115-113 win over the red-hot New Orleans Pelicans at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, La.
The 24-year-old guard poured in a game-high 34 points — including the final two to win the game as time expired.

The Grizzlies trailed by as many as 24 points before Morant led the team on a major comeback in the second half.
Morant was suspended for 25 games following his second gun-flashing incident in May. He was previously suspended in March for a similar incident.
Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins gave Morant a clear message heading into his first game back. Morant appears to have heeded his coach’s call — and then some.
