Watch: Jamal Murray makes circus shot from behind backboard
Jamal Murray has struggled a bit shooting the ball in the Denver Nuggets’ series against the Portland Trail Blazers, so he figured he would try a new approach to start out Game 4 on Sunday — shooting from behind the backboard.
Murray’s first points of the game came as he was fading out of bounds at the baseline, and he literally had to shoot the ball over the back of the glass. The shot somehow went down.

Murray entered Game 4 shooting just 43.5 percent from the field in the series, so perhaps that will get him going. He has been battling a thigh injury, but he felt well enough to get into a heated exchange with Enes Kanter in Game 2 and pick up a technical foul.
If Murray starts struggling from the floor again, he should just go back to shooting from behind the backboard. He made that look easy.
