Jamal Murray, Enes Kanter get technical fouls for altercation
Jamal Murray and Enes Kanter got double technical fouls for an altercation in the final minute of Wednesday’s Game 2 between the Denver Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers.
Damian Lillard was at the free throw line shooting for Portland and made his shot to put the Blazers up 95-88 with 43.5 seconds left. As his shot was in the air, Nikola Jokic shoved Kanter right into Torrey Craig. Murray didn’t like that and got in Kanter’s face.

Kanter and Murray got the double techs for the incident.
Murray’s heated reaction was understandable. He probably didn’t realize that Kanter had been pushed into Craig and likely felt Portland was picking on his teammate, who had already suffered a broken nose earlier in the game and was playing with a mask on.
Portland won the game 97-90 to tie the Western Conference semifinals 1-1. Game 3 will be on Friday in Portland.
