Jayson Tatum is still frustrated over 1 missed call in Game 5

The Boston Celtics closed out the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Wednesday, but Jayson Tatum was still stewing over one controversial play a day later.

Tatum received a technical foul late in the second quarter of Wednesday’s game for dismissively waving off Tony Brothers for failing to call a foul. Tatum felt he was hit on the arm by Cleveland’s Evan Mobley but did not get the call and did not hide his frustration.

Tatum brought the receipts a day later. He posted an image of the play in question that clearly showed Mobley making contact with his arm. Tatum added a caption, still exasperated that the play led to him getting a technical foul.

“Then I get a tech,” Tatum wrote.

The Celtics wound up winning 113-98, so Tatum is mostly over the issue now, one would assume. Brothers, meanwhile, handed out one of the softest techs of the season a couple months ago, so Tatum can take comfort in the fact that he is not alone.
