NBA fans have good memories, and they are here to remind Rihanna of what she owes Joel Embiid.
You may recall that when Embiid was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in 2014, he says he was told by a famous woman to come back to her when he had achieved All-Star status in the NBA rather than just being a high draft pick.

It was finally confirmed last year that the celebrity crush was none other than singer Rihanna.
So after Embiid was named on Thursday to his first ever NBA All-Star team, his fans flooded Rihanna’s most recent Instagram post with mentions of Embiid’s name:
