After being part of a three-team trade involving the Cavaliers, Thunder, and Knicks, J.R. Smith made his debut for Cleveland on Wednesday against the Rockets. Since Smith just arrived, it’s understandable he isn’t yet familiar with head coach David Blatt’s playbook. That’s quite alright, because if there’s ever any doubt as to what Smith should do, he’ll just shoot the ball, as he says in the above video.
Among the memorable moments J.R. Smith has provided since coming into the league in 2004, this has to rank near the top of the list. As Tommy Beer of BasketballInsiders said, this is potential tombstone material.

Smith saw 18 minutes of action in his Cavaliers debut but was held scoreless, going 0-for-5 from the floor.
