JR Smith went on his Instagram Story to address a rumor about him supposedly cheating on his wife, Jewel Harris.
There has been some recent speculation that JR was dating “The Flash” actress Candice Patton. The rumors apparently were sparked after the two were spotted at a party together, and augmented after JR went on IG Live with a dog that looked like Patton’s.
On Tuesday, Harris posted a video on Instagram in which she discussed the relationship between Smith and Patton.

JR did not appreciate being blasted publicly by his wife like that, so he responded via his Instagram Story.

Smith mocked the way Harris, in her video, mentioned God as her father. He also shared that the two have been separated.

That seems to be Smith’s way of saying he has a legitimate reason for being with another woman.
Smith, 34, was waived by the Cleveland Cavaliers over the summer. He played in 11 games for them last season and essentially was sent home last season after accusing the team of tanking.
