Jusuf Nurkić did his best Damian Lillard impression following the Portland Trail Blazers’ win over the Denver Nuggets in Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals.
The Nuggets and Blazers met on Sunday with a spot in the Western Conference Finals on the line. Behind a monster game from C.J. McCollum, the Blazers came away with a win to advance to the conference finals for the first time since 2000.
Nurkić, who is not with the team while he recovers from the leg injury he suffered during a game in late March, still made his presence felt in Denver following his team’s victory. He joined in the celebration via video call and waved goodbye to the Nuggets.

The gesture mimicked the one by teammate Damian Lillard, who sent the Oklahoma City Thunder home in the first round with a shot for the ages and so long wave to Russell Westbrook and the Thunder.
Nurkić wasn’t the only member of the Blazers delivering shots after Sunday’s win. McCollum burned Torrey Craig of the Nuggets over his defense, or lack of, on McCollum’s clinching shot.
