The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Los Angeles Clippers in an overtime thriller on Wednesday to even their series at 1-1. Last year’s NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard scored 23 points in the game, and his best two came at the expense of J.J. Redick.
Roughly midway through the fourth quarter, Leonard faked like he was going to spin but instead took a step-back jumper. Redick didn’t see it coming and it ended up looking like someone took the shoelaces on each of his sneakers and tied them together.

The Clippers would eventually erase San Antonio’s double-digit lead to force overtime, but the Spurs prevailed.

We haven’t seen ankles broken that badly since Andre Iguodala did this to Quincy Miller. Let us all pray for J.J.
