Kevin Durant shared a cool tweet on Thursday about one of his opponents.
Durant is a student of the game and appreciates history. That likely inspired him to send his tweet about DeMar DeRozan, who has been on an impressive streak.
DeRozan on Wednesday scored 38 points, giving him seven straight games of at least 35 points on 50 percent shooting or better.

“Thank you for setting a great example and playing the game with supreme skill @DeMar_DeRozan,” Durant wrote.
The Bulls have gone 5-2 during DeRozan’s streak, winning their last five games.
Chicago has tied Miami for the No. 1 spot in the East. Durant’s Brooklyn Nets are in the No. 8 spot at 31-28. His Nets could end up facing DeRozan’s Bulls in the playoffs.
They may be in competition with each other, but that won’t stop Durant from appreciating well-played basketball.
