Kevin Durant leaves arena on crutches, in walking boot
Kevin Durant was seen leaving Scotiabank Arena with the assistance of medical equipment after suffering a lower leg injury during Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
Durant was playing in his first game since Game 5 of the Golden State Warriors’ Western Conference semifinals series against the Houston Rockets on May 8. In the second quarter on Monday, Durant suffered what appeared to be an Achilles injury that forced him to leave the game.
During the fourth quarter of the game, Durant was seen leaving the arena on crutches and with a walking boot on his right foot.

Durant will undergo an MRI on Tuesday to determine the extent of the injury. He had 11 points in 12 minutes in his first game back from the calf strain he suffered in May.
