Kevin Durant seemingly responds to Peyton Manning zinger with tweet
The best joke of the 2017 ESPYs came at the expense of Kevin Durant, and the Golden State Warriors star did not seem amused. But deep down inside, he may have been laughing.
Peyton Manning, who hosted the awards show, quipped at one point that the U.S. Olympic gymnastics team was so dominant that Kevin Durant said he wants to play for them. When cameras panned to Durant, he remained stone-faced.

Durant’s mother Wanda, who was sitting right next to Kevin, laughed hysterically. We’d be surprised if Durant wasn’t just playing along by acting angry, and a tweet he sent made it seem that way.

Durant can be a bit sensitive, as evidenced by the way he went after some trolls on social media recently. Still, that was a fairly innocent joke from Manning. K.D. probably saw it coming.
