The news on Durant is not a surprise. The Warriors had more or less hinted at this several days ago, as his recovery from a right calf strain has been slow going. His status for the remainder of the series remains up in the air, but the fact that the Warriors wouldn’t look beyond Game 1 for his status suggests that they’re content to take things game-by-game. Certain parts of the organization clearly believe he’ll feature, so it’s very much a wait and see situation.
