Divac has one year remaining on his contract after this season. He seems to have finally seized control of an organization that has often been marked by chaos in the past, and the Kings came very close to ending their playoff drought this season. If they stay on track, they could end it next season, and they’ll want to keep Divac involved in that as long as they’re trending up.
