Klay Thompson introduced his first signature shoe — the KT1 — at an Anta event in the Bay Area on Saturday. He also took the opportunity to clear up some photos that surfaced during the summer.
Thompson did a press event with Anta over the summer, and one particular picture went viral. It showed Thompson looking less than thrilled to be there:

What was the reason for him looking so glum?
“I had a long night he night before,” Thompson said Saturday via Sole Collector. “We just flew in. Two long nights. That’s about it.”
The Golden State Warriors forward must have learned his lesson, because he was all smiles on Saturday.

His signature sneaker is available in select Champs Sports stores in the Bay Area as well as China.
