Kobe Bryant’s Christmas Sneaker Belongs on Nickelodeon (Picture)

Maybe it’s just because I grew up in the 90s, but when I saw the shoes Kobe Bryant plans to wear on Christmas Day I immediately thought of Nickelodeon.  These bad boys look like something that would give you an edge on a game show like Global GUTS or Family Double Dare.  Check out these pictures that SneakerFiles.com shared with us via The Basketball Jones:

Those are the official Nike Zoom Year of the Dragon Kobe VII’s, and for some reason I kind of like them.  They certainly have nothing on the Marty McFly sneakers, however.  I like the whole cartoon monster Rugrats (I’ll stop with the Nickelodean references now) type of look.  In no way do they match the standard Laker uniform, but it is a special day.  The lockout is ending and Christmas time will be upon us.  There’s no better time to go wild with a new pair of kicks.
