Kyrie Irving has missed some games this season for maintenance days and minor injuries, and he will have to sit out at least one more this week.
The Boston Celtics ruled Irving out for Monday night’s game against the Brooklyn Nets with a hip injury. Head coach Brad Stevens told the media the ailment stems from a fall Irving took in Boston’s loss to the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night, and the star point guard is considered day-to-day.
Kyrie woke up with a sore hip. He suffered it during first half on Saturday. He is day to day, according to Brad Stevens.

Sounds like Kyrie Irving (sore hip) could miss another game or two this week. Brad Stevens doesn't think its a long-term issue but wasn't sure about his availability for Wednesday vs. Hornets.

Irving scored 32 points in 40 minutes against the Warriors and was able to remain in the game after taking the fall, so it does not sound like the injury is that serious. The Celtics had won five games in a row prior to falling to the defending champions.
