Luka Doncic’s bromance with Austin Reaves had a hilarious highlight (or lowlight) on Sunday.
Although Reaves has yet to see action on the court since the calendar flipped to 2026, he made a bit of an impact late in the contest against the visiting Toronto Raptors at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Calif.
After Doncic committed a personal foul with 3:34 remaining in the fourth quarter, the ball was seen bouncing toward the Lakers’ bench. Reaves, who was not in uniform due to an injury, stood up to retrieve the ball. However, Doncic appeared to block Reaves’ path, leading to a delay of the game violation for the Lakers.

Fortunately, it was just a minor violation that did not cost the Lakers the game. Los Angeles had the victory virtually in the bag at the time of the delay of the game call, as Doncic and company had a 16-point lead with just under four minutes left in regulation.
Returning from a one-game absence because of a groin issue, the Slovenian Doncic racked up 25 points on 8-for-23 shooting with 7 assists, 2 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block in 34 minutes of action in the Lakers’ 110-93 win over the Raptors.
