LeBron James Recruiting PGs Steve Nash, Jamal Crawford via Twitter

LeBron James is a basketball player, businessman, and aspiring international icon. It looks like he may be adding another title to his business card: general manager.

The Heat forward, who handled the ball for Miami a good amount last season, spent some time Thursday recruiting point guards via Twitter.

“Would love to see [Jamal Crawford] in a Heat uni! What you guys say?” he wrote in one tweet.

“Maybe Steve Nash in a Heat uni! So we can help each other get our 1st ring” he said in another.

Crawford is a free agent, which is why LeBron probably targeted him first. Nash is signed for another season with Phoenix, but he’ll be a free agent after that.

Steve is 37 years old, but he’s still one of the best distributors in the NBA. Crawford is 31 and one of the best sixth men in the NBA. Either player would be an excellent addition for the Heat, and hearing from LeBron personally via Twitter probably makes them feel wanted. Miami would likely be favored to win the title if they brought in either player.
