We haven’t heard the last of LiAngelo Ball just yet.
The middle son of the Ball basketball family has joined the Oklahoma City Blue, the G-League affiliate of the Oklahoma City Thunder, as a practice player, according to Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman.
Mussatto says that Ball joined the Blue as a practice player after the G League Winter Showcase earlier in December. He also notes that it is customary for G League teams to bring in practice players and that Ball is not an official member of the Blue.
The 21-year-old Ball has had a low profile since last year’s forgettable stint in the Big Baller Brand’s Junior Basketball Association (JBA). These days most of the buzz has to do with his younger brother instead, but LiAngelo is still keeping his NBA dream alive for now.
