Luka Doncic knows a thing or two about trash talk, and now he is pinpointing one particular opponent who can match his energy in that regard.
The Los Angeles Lakers superstar Doncic appeared this week on the “Cousins” podcast with Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady. During the episode, Doncic was asked to name the biggest trash-talker in the NBA today.
After pondering the question for a moment, Doncic named Phoenix Suns swingman Dillon Brooks. “I love playing against him,” Doncic said of Brooks.

That is definitely not a bad answer from Doncic. Brooks is known as one of the biggest trolls and irritants in the NBA today and has a very long history of going at Doncic’s star Lakers teammate LeBron James in particular.
To his credit, Brooks, the former All-Defensive selection, is not just all talk either. He is having a career year this season for the Suns, averaging 21.1 points per game and emerging as a legitimate No. 2 offensive option behind Devin Booker. That has helped Phoenix to a surprising record of 31-22 (seventh in the Western Conference).
As for Doncic, he is in the S-tier when it comes to trash talk as well. The former NBA scoring champion especially loves getting into it with opposing fans and also went viral last month for one of the most vulgar messages possible to an opponent during a game.
