Luka Doncic makes surprising comment about NBA

Luka Doncic

Luka Doncic made a surprising comment about the NBA.

The NBA is recognized as the highest level of professional basketball throughout the world. Doncic is excelling in his first season in the NBA after establishing himself as arguably the best player in Europe, playing for Spanish team Real Madrid.

In an interview with Movistar NBA, Doncic said that it’s easier to score in the NBA than in Europe.

“Here [in the NBA] its easier to score compared to Europe, of course. In Europe, the court is smaller and here there is the three seconds rule. I think it’s easier to score here.”

You would think that due to the higher quality of players in the NBA, it would be tougher for a young player like Doncic. But he believes due to the rules that favor offensive players, it’s easier to score. His reasoning makes sense, even if it is a bit surprising. The Dallas Mavericks young star is also backing up his words with his play — he’s already made some history in his rookie season.
