Luka Doncic makes history with latest triple-double
If you’re wondering why people are making such a big deal about Luka Doncic, look no further than this.
Doncic had 35 points with 12 rebounds and 10 assists as his Dallas Mavericks lost at home 123-120 to the Toronto Raptors on Sunday. The game marked Doncic’s second triple-double of the season, as he also had one on Monday against the Bucks.
Doncic, who turns 20 on Feb. 28, is now the first teenager in NBA history to have multiple triple-doubles (Markelle Fultz has the only other triple-double by a teenager). He is also the first teenager with a 30-point triple-double.
What he did in the game was impressive. Take a look at this three-pointer he made despite Kawhi Leonard being all over him:

Detractors will point to Dallas’ 22-27 record, but most fans can recognize that the Mavericks have a special franchise player in the making. The wins will come.
