Malik Beasley and Giannis Antetokounmpo used to be teammates, but there isn’t much love left there these days.
Beasley’s Detroit Pistons and Antetokounmpo’s Milwaukee Bucks played each other on Friday. Antetokounmpo’s side ultimately prevailed, winning 125-119.
In the closing seconds of the game, Antetokounmpo completely stuffed a Beasley three-point try. Antetokounmpo then trolled Beasley, who had fallen to the floor, by doing a shimmy over him. When Antetokounmpo eventually tried to help Beasley up, Beasley reacted angrily and pushed Antetokounmpo away. Meanwhile, Antetokounmpo continued to shimmy in front of Beasley with a smile on his face.

Here is the clip.
On Saturday morning, Beasley’s mind was still on Antetokounmpo. He took to his X page to call out The Greek Freak for mocking him.
“Let someone stand over you, hit your ish , then try to help me up,” Beasley wrote. “in what world would you let that slide in? Idc how goofy he is lol.”
For context, Beasley’s signature move is doing a shimmy with his hips after making a three-pointer. In the wake of Beasley making over 300 triples and counting this season, his celebration has even inspired a meal from local Michigan chain Savvy Sliders called the “Shimmy Meal.”
Interestingly enough, Antetokounmpo and Beasley were teammates on the Bucks just last season before Beasley left in free agency to sign with the Pistons this past offseason. As Beasley hinted at, Antetokounmpo is also well-known for his somewhat juvenile sense of humor. But Beasley definitely was not laughing about Antetokounmpo’s antics on Friday.
