It has been nearly two years since Manu Ginobili retired from the NBA and left a void with the San Antonio Spurs, but it appears the four-time NBA champion is still making himself quite useful in the community.
A woman took to Twitter last week to share a story about Ginobili, and she said the former Spurs star helped her grandmother at a beach in Argentina after the woman fell. Jeff Garcia of News 4 San Antonio provided a translation of the tweets, and they detailed how the woman fell while trying to climb a sand dune and Ginobili came to her aid.
“The head of my grandmother faced a sand dune alone to go to the truck and fell, 2 men were running to help her, picked her up and accompanied her, when we were arriving we see that photos begin to be taken with one, we thought it was ridiculous AND WAS MANU GINÓBILI!” the translation of the tweet read.
The woman then shared a photo of her grandmother with Ginobili with a caption that translated to something along the lines of “these things only happen to my grandmother.”

We already knew Ginobili was much more than just a key part of an NBA dynasty. You remember what Ginobili did that time a bat was flying around the Spurs arena, right? He was a hero then, and that has continued into his retirement.
