Marcus Morris traded by Knicks to Clippers for Moe Harkless
The Los Angeles Clippers have made a move at the trade deadline that should help them defensively, acquiring Marcus Morris from the New York Knicks.
The Knicks and Clippers are finalizing a deal that will see them swap Morris and fellow swingman Maurice Harkless, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Other players and picks could also be involved.

In addition to being a solid defender, Morris is having his best season as a pro offensively, as he is averaging a career-high 19.6 points per game. Harkless has averaged 5.5 points and 4.0 rebounds while playing 22.8 minutes per game.
Several teams were interested in acquiring Morris, and the Knicks also had discussions with the Los Angeles Lakers about a potential deal involving Morris and Kyle Kuzma. The Lakers reportedly informed New York on Thursday that they were no longer interested.
