Report: Markelle Fultz to meet with more injury specialists
Markelle Fultz has missed the last three games with the Philadelphia 76ers, and the former top overall pick continues to try to figure out what is wrong with him physically.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Fultz has multiple meetings lined up with specialists this week, presumably for opinions on his injured shoulder and wrist. The report makes it sound like he could be looking at another lengthy absence.
Sixers guard Markelle Fultz is meeting with specialists today and again mid-week in New York, league sources tell ESPN. There isn't expected to be a resolution on next steps until later in week.

Fultz was benched late in the Sixers’ game against the Phoenix Suns last Monday, and his agent later said he advised the point guard to not take part in any more basketball activities until he sees a specialist for his ailing shoulder. The 76ers said they were blindsided and had no idea Fultz was injured.
In addition to the shoulder injury that appears to date back to last season, Fultz is reportedly also dealing with a wrist issue that is affecting his shooting. The 76ers have not confirmed either injury publicly.
Fultz is averaging just 8.2 points per game on 41.9 percent shooting. At least two teams are reportedly interested in trading for him, but it’s unlikely that any move will be made until the former Washington star proves he is healthy both physically and mentally.
