Marvin Bagley in brace after suffering left knee injury

Marvin Bagley

This was the last thing the Sacramento Kings needed entering the stretch run of the regular season.

Rookie Marvin Bagley III suffered a left knee injury on a screen late in the third quarter of the Kings’ 141-140 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night.

Bagley did not return to the game. The Kings later announced that the rookie had a left knee sprain and would undergo an MRI on Thursday.

Bagley was seen with a brace on his left leg as he exited the locker room.

Bagley had 9 points and 7 rebounds in 18 minutes during the game. He is averaging 14 points and 7.2 rebounds per game this season.
