Report: Marvin Bagley expected to sign huge shoe deal with Puma
Marvin Bagley may be taking the road less traveled.
According to The Athletic’s Jon Krawczynski, Bagley is going to sign a five-year deal with Puma that will give him a huge rookie shoe deal.
Marvin Bagley, projected to be one of the top picks in the NBA draft next week, is going to sign a five-year deal with Puma that is expected to be the largest rookie shoe deal since Kevin Durant, sources tell @TheAthletic

Krawczynski further reports that Puma is negotiating with other draft prospects in an effort to get into the basketball shoe game.
Bagley is a good place for them to start. He averaged 21 points and 11.1 rebounds per game as a freshman for Duke and was a double-double machine. He’s projected to be among the top picks in next week’s draft.
While Puma is a big international brand with many soccer, rugby, track, golf and motorsports athletes under their label, they have very little representation from America’s major sports. But they’re now looking to break into the NBA space, apparently.
