The Dallas Mavericks are one of the few remaining teams with a fair amount of salary cap space left, which makes them a fit for future signings. One player they have on their radar is Marcus Morris.
Dallas Basketball’s Mike Fisher reported on Tuesday that the Mavs have interest in both Danny Green and Morris.

The Mavericks’ interest in Green has been known, but the 3-point shooting wing is waiting on Kawhi Leonard’s decision before deciding where he will go. The buzz about a market for Morris has been surprisingly quiet.
Morris averaged 13.9 points and 6.1 rebounds per game while showcasing impressive shooting percentages for Boston last season. He shot 44.7/37.5/84.4 percent last season and was in the exclusive 50/40/90 club for a while before falling off.
It’s possible that Marcus will want to see what the market is like for twin brother Markieff before making his decision.
