Phoenix Suns forward Michael Beasley was arrested early Tuesday morning in Scottsdale, Ariz. You have one guess as to what it had to do with. If marijuana instantly came to mind, you’re on the right track.
According to Scottsdale’s website, police stopped Beasley for a traffic violation at 1:15 a.m. and an officer smelled marijuana as he approached the vehicle. The officer then discovered some weed during a search of the vehicle, and Beasley was arrested and booked on pending charges of marijuana possession and later released.
Beasley has been in trouble with the law multiple times over the past several years. Back in 2011, we sacked him with the infamous LBS Nut Bag after he was pulled over for speeding and officers discovered he was in possession of marijuana. Moral of the story: the former Kansas State star needs to either drive more carefully or give up the green.
