Moe Harkless had a whirlwind day that saw him traded from the Portland Trail Blazers to the Miami Heat, only to ultimately land with the Los Angeles Clippers as part of the Jimmy Butler trade.
Once Harkless knew he was settled in Los Angeles, he got on Twitter and immediately tried to help his new team recruit their top free agent target.

Harkless could actually be a key part of recruiting Leonard, though not in the way he’s joking about. He could be a key part of the Clippers’ roster as a forward with playoff experience who’s good enough to start. His acquisition means the team still has a max slot to hand out to Leonard if he’s willing to sign, though they’re facing serious cross-town competition to get that done.
